Husband-Tested Lunch Box Ideas


Here are just a few lunches I've "Husband-Tested" over the years.  Links to the recipes are included.

This is a very yummy, very filling lunch loaded with protein and fiber.  
Cold Sesame Whole-Wheat Noodles & Spiralized
(or Shredded) Vegetables

Here's a low calorie lunch that includes lots of rainbow colors!
Simple Salmon Salad; WASA Cracker; Purple Grapes; Carrot Sticks;
Cherry Tomatoes; and Blanched Green Beans


Prep this lunch on the weekend and enjoy throughout the week.
Sriracha Quinoa Bites; Broccoli Olive Salad; Fresh Apple Slices;
Orange Cornmeal Cake

This delicious salad tastes best when prepared in advance
and allowed to hang out in the fridge.

Pea Pod and Chicken Salad Oriental
; Grapefruit Segments;
Trail Mix (Sunflower Seeds, Almonds, Pumpkin Seeds, Raisins

The quiches can be made in advance and even frozen. 
You can vary the veggies and
cheeses so that you can use leftovers to make them.

This vegetarian lunch is one of my faves. 
And, it's make-ahead, so perfect for busy people.
Spicy Lentil-Walnut Burger w/Simple Yogurt Sauce;
Dinosaur Kale Salad; 1/2 Banana
The components of this make-ahead meatless lunch are very addictive!  
Chickpea and Cauliflower Salad; Savory Baked Tofu; Fresh Pear Chunks;
Apple Butter, Cinnamon, Greek Yogurt Dip
Okay, this one is a bit decadent, but very filling. 
So, make this one for a special occasion.

A Good Cookie
