Seedy Mix

Recipe from Pick Up Limes
Husband-Tested in Alice’s Kitchen
Makes 24 Tablespoons or 12 ounces or 72 teaspoons

It only takes a few minutes to mix up a batch of these healthful seeds.  Keep the Seedy Mix in the fridge and spoon it over soups, smoothies, oatmeal, salads, or fruit.  I love to mix some in with my favorite nut butter to spread some goodness on my morning whole-grain toast.  This mix will add some healthy fats, calcium, protein and fiber to whatever you put it on.

4 Tablespoons Flax Seeds, ground
4 Tablespoons Hemp Seeds
4 Tablespoons Pumpkin Seeds (Pepitas)
4 Tablespoons Sunflower Seeds
4 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds, toasted*
4 Tablespoons Chia Seeds

Place the seeds in a medium bowl and stir until they are thoroughly mixed together.  Pour into a glass jar and tighten the lid.  Store in the refrigerator.

Spoon over soups, smoothies, salads, fruit, and/or mix some of the Seedy Mix in with your favorite nut butter.  Spread the seedy nut butter over whole-grain toast and serve with a piece of whole fruit for a quick and healthful breakfast or snack.
