How to Cook Perfectly Round Eggs

Husband-Tested in Alice's Kitchen

Using cooking spray, coat the bottom of a non-stick skillet. Spray some metal Mason jar rings with the spray as well. Heat the skillet.

While the skillet is heating up, carefully break eggs into a measuring cup that has a spout. Have about ¼ cup water ready to go in small bowl or cup.

When the skillet is hot, carefully pour an egg into each metal ring.

When the whites of the eggs begin to cook, pour the water in the skillet begin carefully not to get any inside the metal rings.

Put a lid on the skillet and allow the eggs to cook to your liking. (The yolks can be runny or you can cook the eggs longer and so that the yolks are more solid.) Remove the lid when the eggs are cooked. The eggs will slip right out of their "molds."

See how perfectly round they are? I drizzled these eggs with hot sauce and served them with some whole-wheat toast.

Here's a yummy sandwich I made with whole-grain toast, smeared with a bit of mustard, topped with baby spinach, then a slice of ham, then my Perfectly Round Egg, and then drizzled with hot sauce.
