Slow Cooker Maple Dijon Chicken Drumsticks

Servings: 3-4
Recipe from Skinnytaste.com
Husband-Tested in Alice’s Kitchen

Well, this couldn’t be easier to make so it’s perfect for a weeknight.  I served these tasty drumsticks with sautéed, shredded Brussels sprouts and Spicy Sweet Potatoes.

6-8 skinless drumsticks
*
¼ cup pure Maple syrup
2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
¼ cup Dijon mustard
¾ teaspoon garlic salt
or 1 clove garlic, mashed and ½ teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper

Season chicken with garlic salt and pepper and place in slow cooker. Combine maple, balsamic, and Dijon in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Pour over the legs; making sure the chicken is covered.
Set a 6-quart slow cooker to HIGH and cook 4 hours, or until cooked through and tender.

*Note:  Use a paper towel to tug the skin from the drumsticks.
